This wonderful little model planer was viewed at the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association's Fall Festival in 2010. It was built by Whitney possibly as a salesman's model. It is fully operational, featuring a two knife square cutterhead and wedge bed table raising. The bed rolls are adjustable and the upper rolls have leaf springs. It is the prized possesion of its current owner who received it as a gift from his former boss, a patternmaker.
