In 1995 I found this saw in an old barn partly buried in the dirt floor, the miter was rusted in the groove, the table would not go up and down but was minor to fix. The saw is in good condition,I believe it was run by a line shaft at one time because it had 5 and a half inch wide flat drive pulley on it when I got it. From what I have been able to find out all of the equipment and interests in the woodworking machinery branch was transfered to the FAY & EGAN plant IN 1933, the towsley general woodworking line did continue to be manufactured under the towsley name , but the output was marketed through the FAY & EGAN Company, which was 103 years old at that time. I am still useing the saw and it is working good.
