Wile checking out CL i called about a Delta scroll saw. The gentleman told me he had some other tools. I looked at a pic of this De Walt saw he had and thought it look pretty nice. Told him to make me a deal i cant pass up. With him living in San Fransisco, about 1 hr 20 mi drive from Rio Vista, he told me that the tools needed to go so he would take $100. for the delta scroll saw and $50.00 for the De Walt. I told him that i was on my way. The best i can find out is the saw is 1943 and in great shape. It is 2 hp 1 ph and runs great. he had it built into a bench so i will have to put a table on it. It came with a new 14 in blade, but it looks like it would take a 16 in no problem. I would love if someone who knows about these saws can tell me if it is a 1943 by the ser # 17058 and what size saw it really is. I look at it like i bought a new blade and got a very cool saw with the deal.
