I found this Delta Rockwell lathe via craigslist. I was the first to show up and the previous owner was getting calls the whole time while we were loading it. It came setup with a 220 V motor, but also included the original 3 phase motor. It also came with some dirty paper and a record of all the parts that the previous owner had replaced.

11/11 Update: Finished re-wiring the lathe (see Photo 4). The drum switch does not have enough contacts to remove power from both hot legs and switch the starting circuit wires. So I wired one hot leg straight to the motor and added an upstream disconnect switch (okay, so a 60A disconnect switch is a little big for this lathe, but it makes a nice 'clunk' when turning the lathe on). I made a custom bracket that locates the disconnect switch similar to the catalog depictions. Light shade and gooseneck are from Vimco. Lathe has a strong vibration that is in synch with a bobble in the belt - next on the list to be addressed.

Long term I plan on giving it a new coat of paint and replacing some of the missing/wrong knobs, etc.

Note: the model number is a guess based on paperwork I have found on the internet. I found a serial number during de-greasing, but have not correlated it to a model number or date of manufacture.
