While I was sharing the O.W.W.M. website with my brother, I decided to show him the kind of drill press I want to get (A Buffalo). That's when he acted surprised and told me that he had one, which I didn't believe because he isn't much of a tool guy. But he mentioned how it belonged to his father in law who'd passed away, and that he rescued it from the in-laws. They were going to give it to a scrap metal guy. He just thought it looked good and solid, so he decided to keep it for himself. I went to investigate, and sure enough, he wasn't kidding! Here's the problem now. If I hadn't shown him the site, I might not have known that he had it. But on the other hand, now that he's seen what they look like when they're fixed up and repainted, he wants to keep it! So much for taking it off his hands! At least I'll have fun helping him restore it, while the quest for one of my own goes on!
