Acquired this lathe from another widow. Her late husband had used the lathe for years in his hobby shop. It is basically identical to my floor model lathe with a quick-change gearbox, except it is 2 years newer and is a bench model instead of floor legs. This one had the overhead counter shaft assy. I got it basically to have a full set of "spare parts" for my 1929 Southbend 11" lathe. So far I haven't needed anything so this lathe is just sitting in storage in pieces. I may decide to either sell it complete or part it out to people who need parts from these (fairly rare) 11"ers, since South Bend discontinued the 11" lathe in 1940 to rationalize their product lines and concentrate on the 9", 10", 13" and 16" lathes.
