Comments:
I purchased this saw in August of 2009 from a OWWM.com and OWWM.org participant, selling on C'list. I plan on using this saw in a small wood shop in my barn, and to do this will remove a slightly larger saw.

Th saw appears to be in good condition, never repainted. One miter gauge only is present (of the original two, left and right); the original rip fence is in good condition. This machine has an original three phase gear drive motor and some casters apparently from something like a washing machine.: not prety but they seem handy. I believe they are fitted into bolt down holes though the machine foot castings have another hole which was intended, I think, for casters.

The 'head' of the machine fits on the base without fastners, weight and rabbets only holding it on. The construction of the base is interesting, as it is made of twelve cast iron parts, eight interchangeable cross pieces and four interchangeable legs. This iron is thin in cross section.
