Comments:
This saw was discovered in the old Lapp Mill in LeRoy, NY. The mill was re-built in 1893 and this saw was very likely original to the building. Purchased in 2010 and removed from the Lapp Mill at that time. Since, it has been re-installed at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture in Tifton, GA in their steam powered woodworking shop.

The saw was actually still operational up until the day that we removed it from the Lapp Mill. It more than likely saw continuous use for 117 years at the Lapp Mill! Hopefully, it will remain in use at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture for that many more!
