A couple weeks ago i picked up a 1946 6in jointer. It had a nice ri motor and a nice cast belt guard, But it had its legs cut off and bolted back on to shorten. I was going to weld up the legs but thought i would watch out for a another stand. Yesterday wile watching CL i found this jointer in petaluma CA. A little over a hr drive from home, Rio Vista CA. It is also a 1946. 6in It is all original and complete. The wife of the gentleman i got it from told me she thinks her dad was the original owner. One crank handle was broken and does need new bearings. But it also cam with 3 sets of NEW old stock blades. At $125.00 I have a hard time passing up a nice old tool. Can someone tell me how to tell the model. i am going by other pics on the sight to guess on the model. I know i still have a lot to learn about All this. Thank you
