THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR SALE, DON'T ASK, AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOUR ITEM "X" FOR IT. THIS IS NOT A SALES FORUM AND I DO NOT HAVE MACHINERY FOR SALE HERE.
This bandsaw is no longer in my possession. It is owned by another OWWMember and if you have questions about it, contact me and I'll let the owner know that you care and to make contact. The saw came out of a former forge/mill/machine shop on the west side of Buffalo, NY. I have no history/name on/of the firm that owned it, but the p.o. wanted it and four other old arn pcs gone. I paid $100 for this saw and its motor, which wound up being a boat anchor. It couldn't be repaired. Big thanks to Keith Rucker for your advice and assistance re this b'saw. My intentions are to restore it and use it "as is" once space and time allow. Also big thanks to Bobby Knourek at WW Tool Works for his advice and supplies. Also, big thanks to local OWWM member Matt Kantar and his "big black Ford", a p/up for helping me move the bs (and the other four old arn pcs, to a more hospitable location. Man, what an operation that was. More discussion, and photos can be seen of the saw and the other old arn pcs at this link: http://owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=80086
