This machine had been listed several times on CL. Several months ago, on the last day of it's listing, I emailed the seller saying that I was interested, and got no response. The listing disappeared, so I assumed that I was too late.
The machine came up again, though, last week. After contemplating a bit, I again emailed the seller, and we communicated several times. I was unable, however, to get to pick it up, due to prior commitments. I contacted a friend, though, who'd had eyes for a Delta band saw that I had, and we struck a deal - he went and purchased the saw, and we traded.
Anyway, the seller was acting as an agent for the owner, who was in his mid eighties, and had worked in a school maintenance shop, which is where this saw is said to have come from.
The saw is in perfect original condition, but came to me without a stand or motor. I hope to find a proper stand.
This is the only example of this model I have ever seen; apparently, they were only made for a short time.
