I am new to this site. I here ones talking about sliding down the slope. That's now me. Wile getting ready to take my boys from home in Rio Vista, CA To school in Santa Cruz we were going to stop and pick up a 1946 jointer that i found on CL. Sense i was going to make the trip i thought i would also check the CL area around Santa Cruz. I found a ad of a gentleman that had bought a house in monterey that came with a newer roxwell drill press and a delta belt sander. He wanted $300. for both and i told him i was only interested in the sander and would he sell just that. He said he would and how did $150 sound. It was very much worth the extra driving. Before we loaded it up he made sure he showed me how well it ran. It is all there , just has a GE1hp motor.
