Entry #10,000 here on OWWM.com
This saw features the engine turning on the fence rail which I'd seen in a catalog shot but had assumed was one of the oft-seen examples of catalog art that never made it into production. Since this discovery at least one more with the engine turning has shown up for sale on OWWM.org.
For a discussion of this feature see http://owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=77816
This saw is pristine. It came with an original stand--it stands 41" tall(!)
Although listed as an 8" saw, I've found that both the 101.02143 and this 101.02142 saw will take a 9" blade.
Edit 11-6-2010
The saw has acquired a set of extension tables and a motor pulley properly sized to the speed. It runs true and very quietly.
