This grinder came from a pseudo-salvage yard/mechanic shop whose owner was getting grief from the landlord and county for the state of the place. He was clearing out as much as he could, and I brought home several pedestal grinders. All were running, but badly in need of some care and attention. This is a 1/2 hp 3440 rpm three phase motor on what is believed to be an original Baldor steel stand. I mounted a 120v input VFD for use in my hope shop, with the toggle switch serving as the control to power on the VFD. The lamp is original and was simply stripped and buffed.
