Comments:
Purchased jointer off the BOYD from "kirbot" (who did all the restoration/paint leg work), with the understanding I post in the Manufacture Index. Stand is a Delta stand painted black metal flake. C'man 1/4 HP motor received same two-tone paint scheme. Jointer was missing blade guard so I made one with a pattern sent by an OWWMer - works well. Finished off with a "quick and dirty" oak chip chute and mobile base. Jointer went to my dad for his 70th birthday because they have the same born on date. My dad never had a jointer prior to this one because he could never justify buying one - he uses it constantly.
