Comments:
I do not own this machine.
It was brought to me to be renovated which I did. The machine was found in the workshop of an old sugar mill in Kwa Zulu Natal. The machine has the original motor a 1/4 hp. It is a two speed. (Admin: The catalog shows a 4 step pulley on the motor. This pulley is likely a later replacement.) There is no serial number on the machine. The DP and motor both run on bushings ("oiless bronze bearings"). There are no bearings fitted. The frame is a one piece casting.
Admin: This model was shown in the 1934 and 1935 catalogs as their "500 Series" drill press. In 1936 it was replaced with an new model DP.
