Bought this Powermatic 143 Metal/Wood Bandsaw at an auction in Indianapolis for $341 after all the fees. The auctioneer ran the bandsaw prior to sell to prove it worked, but it has three phase power so a 1 phase motor is needed unless a VFD gets used. The 143 came from a screw company where they primarily used it for metal, but now it will primarily serve as a wood tool. According to the serial number, this was produced in 1966. When looking closely, you will see hints of green paint poking through the gray. Any general information you might offer about the saw, such as year of make, etc. will be appreciated.
