I bought this saw from an ad on craigslist. It was a school saw originally and had the orange paint on the cranks. The fellow who sold it had two later model PM 66's he used in his construction business. This was my first vintage tool restoration. The saw had a 2 hp 3 phase motor which I replaced with a new Leeson 3 hp single phase 220 motor. I got the paint from Sherwin Williams in Denver who had the paint formula for the Powermatic green. My son works in a sign shop and made the stripe for me. I had the mobile base on an old Craftsman contractor saw. I thought it might be a little light weight for this saw but it seems to work. I would be interested in finding out what the original power switch was like for this saw. I don't believe the current switch is original.
