I bought this drill press for $80.00 at a local steam and gas engine swap meet because I needed a versatile drill press. The motor is a Rockwell 1/3 hp Standard Duty (sleeve bearings) split phase. The chuck is a 1/2" capacity Multi-Craft Jacobs. Fortunately, the original on/off switch and power cords are fully intact. I chose to keep the OEM paint job for now since it's fairly decent, but everything was disassembled, cleaned and de-rusted prior to reassembly. The only problem that I have is that the rear step pulley seems to be incorrect since the diameters don't match those of the quill pulley. This makes speed changes a bit of a pain. I.e. The correct belt tension for one speed won't work for the others. I'm looking for the correct motor step pulley in case anyone has one for sale. But, at least it looks and runs better than it did. SOLD - 2/5/11

Although not visible here, the blanchard grind marks exist and there are no "extra holes".
