This scroll saw came to me recently as a tag-along with another tool. It is in as-found condition. It runs adequately as-is with some noticeable vibration, but it would most likely run much smoother if the bearings were changed and the drive mechanism were cleaned, the oil in the oil bath was replaced, etc. These appear to have been a hobby level saw. I estimate this saw to date to circa 1950-51. The Model 25 was the only jig/scroll saw listed in Tomlee's 1951 catalog, but the 1952 catalog does not show the Model 25 and instead lists only the Model 27 (a 15" saw) and their Model 28 (an 18" saw). The four-step V-belt pulley on this saw is not original, nor is the motor.
