Comments:
I dug this machine out of a burned down lumber yard. It was a "line shaft" driven unit but I have installed a dedicated 3hp motor Surprisingly, the "babbitt" bearings were not harmed in the intense heat of the fire. It had a cut off saw but I opted not to use that feature. I've not done much in the way of restoration but I sure have made a lot of tenons with it. This machine will cut a 16"w X 6"T X 7"L tenon.
