I received this Boice Crane 6" Extra Long Jointer, along with a Boice Crane shaper, from my Uncle John Bednarz. He used it for his cabinet making business. My late Grandfather Lawrence Bednarz also used it for his furniture making business. I am new to woodworking and these tools have been added to my shop. This is a very sturdy tool. The stand is made of heavy cast iron and steel plates. Not sheet metal here. It still has its original 1.5 hp motor (not shown in the picture). The total bed length is 5' and I believe that the outfeed table is fixed. The fence is adjustable from 45 to 90 degrees with positive stops in both positions. This tool is in excellent condition with the exception of some surface rust.

Front view of jointer without the motor. Dust chute is not mounted. Needs more cleaning.
