I understand this saw came out of a boat yard on LI NY. As purchased it had been substantially restored, e.g., new bearings, tires, paint, counterweight chain, etc. Came with a 5 HP 3 Phase AJAX motor which my brother in law serviced and tested at this commercial motor shop--needed cleaning and bearings and tested fine. A previous e-mail exchange narrowed the manufacture year down to 1905--it has the 1905 patent dates and web feet. The saw has a few issues, in my opinion, that I'll take care of. One is there are some areas with paint damage from handling and the other is the very ugly, after-the-fact, motor mount. The saw has NOT been run since the restoration--the tires are still brand new with the part numbers visible.
