The way I got this 16" Colladay jointer was because a friend saw the listing on Craig's list.
He sent me an e mail telling me about it, he told me about it at the bottom of an e mail. He wrote the words telling me about it in giant type and different colors to grab my attention.
It worked the opposite.
I saw some big colorful writing, and thought it was an add, so I didn't even read it.
Luckily he wrote me again later in the day asking if I checked out the listing he sent me.
I didn't know what he was talking about.
Once we got the mix up cleared up I contacted the guy that day, a Sunday and set it up to meet him Monday.
I only had to look at it a few seconds before I gave him what he was asking for it. $50.
Now you know why I wrote about the e mails. These machines weren't going to be around long at those prices.

I also got a 12/14 inch Yates-American #1 table saw for the same price.
They both came from a place called the BUD company.
I believe they build tractor trailers.

I'll edit this once I'm able to get a picture of the completed jointer.

Comments: The motor plate says this is a two phase motor. It only had three wires coming out of it.I tested it with three phase and it worked. It must have been rewired when it was rebuilt.
