Comments:
Original purchaser was a guitar case manufacturer shop that made coffin guitar cases. A local woodworker Henrico,Va, purchased it about 12 years ago and had a machine shop in Ashland, Va. resurface the two top tables and fence. The upper structure was raised about 2" with 1/2" flat stock and Fafner bearings were mounted on top of the lower Babbet bearing housing. The three phase motor was replaced with a Leeson 5hp, 240V, 1 phase cont.duty motor that was placed inline with the now raised three knife safety cutter head. The cutter guard was missing and a new smaller one was fabricated. Most of the name was ground off except "A.J. FA" and "Cin".

The jointer had been used continuously for the past 12 years and is set up dead flat, and super smooth running.
