This machine was aquired from State Manuf. of Chicago IL (makers of some great old sanders) The owner told me that he believed this drill press to be original to the plant which dates back to the early 20's. It was working hard until it's retirement about 2 years ago. It was in great shape and a true joy to recondition. It is now in my shop and back to work. Some additional information sent to me via e-mail from Jeff McVey which has caused me to edit this entry. He felt that Dale Brewster may have been just the distributor and that this machine was actually manufactured by Royersford Foundry & Machine Co. in PA. I found that Royersford is still in existance and can be found at www.royersford.com. I contacted them and they verbally indicated that they made drill presses under that name. They are suppose to be sending me more info. If anyone has anymore info about this machine I would love to see it!
