This enormous sander was designed and built at the former P. B. Yates Machine Company factory in Beloit, WI. It belongs to a private school where it has not been run in years. It is stored indoors so it remains in good working condition. The school is looking to sell it, so keep an eye on the "Bring Out Your Dead" forum on owwm.org. The machine is located within the 978 area code of Massachusetts.
This sander is a later version of the 3-drum Berlin Machine Works sander at the Illinois Railway Museum:

The sanding drums are powered by a pair of 5 HP 220 volt 3-phase GE induction motors.
