Purchased this sander last month on C*list. Probably started its life in the Kansas City MO School District, then went to a small business man who repaired kilns (used this sander to square the end of kiln bricks). Thought I wouldn't get around to re-doing it 'til summer, but couldn't wait. Had some warm weather last week just before we got 8" of snow on Saturday, so was able to squeeeeeeeze the paint job in before the bad weather hit! The only thing it was missing was a star knob on the right side--bought one from fellow OWWMer "berdman" and it's on the way.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the result. Primed most parts then painted to match my Unisaw with a HVLP spray gun. Enamel paint from Home Depot. Will use this on my wood working projects.
Oh! Initial price: $150.
Sold my 8-1/2" Homecraft sander for $75.
Net result for this sander: $75.
