These pictures are courtesy of Mark Souza of Bear Creek Manufacturing Company of Dolores, Colorado. They have a dozen of these excelsior machines still in production. "Excelsior" is wood shavings, also known as "wood wool". Mark not only has a bunch of these machines, he also made a new one from scratch; see the last picture.
