Moak 16 inch hand jointer, serial # 7999. Mid 50s vintage. Direct drive 5 HP Woods motor with optional 4 knife dynamically balanced cutterhead. Completely restored to pristine, original condition. Entire machine was completely disassembled down to the last nut and bolt, stripped, underwent electrolysis, (spooged) for total rust removal, and from the bare cast iron, every part was epoxy primed and painted with marine grade industrial enamel, and reassembled with most fasteners being replaced with ones of stainless steel. New starter, the original starter enclosure was used as a junction box. This jointer was restored by woodguy1975 in 2006.
