Picked this up from a retired cabinet shop owner...closing shop..economy and age! It's an oldie alright, somewhere in the 30's, Pre-WWII. I notice the bed is formed steel and not cast iron. No motor or 4 step pulley. Headstock leaks oil out of bearings on outboard side. Some slop in the spindle but not bad. Plan to replace bearings and look at this closer to understand the engineering involved. Came with (2) tool rests, 3" face plate, spur bit and center. Should work out fine. Got to love all these old Delta lathes.....it is becoming an addiction..Oh well what does an old coot do at my age?
