I bought this saw in January for $50. The guy said it belonged to his father in-law. He had all original paper work, which had 1952 typed on the front. This is my first restoration. I have since restored the saw, cleaned, painted, new bearings. The top has some light to medium pitting on both sides of the table, but does not appear that it will be a problem. The front panel was nasty and every thing I tried to clean it with was going to take out the swirl marks. I tried all kinds of things and finally just buffed it. I later stumbled by accident a way to restore the marks using a round rubber abrasive stick from cratex ind. But you need a drill press to do it and right now I don't have one. There is a youtube video on it. Its called engine turning. Send me any comments please, Thanks for looking.
Update: 3-2010, Well this saw has went on to a new home and greatful new owner.
