This bandsaw belongs to Ed Greenfield, on whose behalf I have uploaded these pictures. The saw was very likely made between 1879 and 1884. The saw says "Pat'd 1879" on it. That patent was issued on the 2nd of September, 1879. On the 1st of July 1884 Clement was granted another patent related to the upper wheel mounting, and that patented design was not used on this saw so it must predate the redesign.
