I bought this saw to save it from a scrap guy. I paid him double what he paid because I missed it coming up for auction. It was in a welding shop but I assume it came from the local school system at some point. It came with several packages of blades and extra blade holders also. I did a full resto on the machine and just the outside of the stand. I made a temporary throat plate from MDF. This appears to be a somewhat rare machine since there is only one other in the photo index. The wood under the saw is original, I pulled the boards apart, reglued them, stripped them, and to keep some of the old look to the machine I simply waxed and buffed the wood. i really like how the machine looks, with the original stand. I have a couple odds and ends yet to do, there are large holes near the front switch box which had plugs in them that I did not like, so I will come up with something. I installed new wiring but was able to salvage the original switch. The lower badges are in excellent condition but the badge on the upper arm was missing.
