Comments:
I acquired this saw in the mid 80's and was told it was a cabinet makers saw. It came from the high school shop in Livinston, MT. and the full assortment of blades and original dado blades and chippers which are engraved with PCHS for Park County High School. I have used this saw for about 25 years and find it to be the most accurate saw I've been around. The miter fence is indexed to a sliding table that is capable of splitting degrees. The main fence is micro-adjustable to an engraved rule on the table top while adjusting for angles vertically as well as diagonally across the blade for coping cuts. The table tilts to 45 degrees and combined with the sliding table and adjustable miter fence I can cut compound angles with split degree precision. The original 3ph 5hp motor died several years ago and I have replaced it with a 10hp 3ph motor and the flat belt slippage is the only limiting factor. Even the original guards were with this saw when I got it.
