Picked this up from a fellow in Roxbury NJ. The saw belonged to his father in-law, he wasn't much of a woodworker and had no use for it. This was the second of two MBF's that I found on the local Craigslist. The first went to my brother who has since restored it, and I liked it so much that I went and looked at another. At the time there were 4 up for sale on CL.

The saw was fairly intact, it was missing a couple of the small knobs but they were easy to find at Mcmaster Carr.

I replaced the motor bearings, and put a new start capacitor on her. I made her a Mr. Sawdust table and put a Freud thin kerf blade on. The blade cost me almost twice the $24 that I paid for the saw.

She cuts great, very accurate, and with the thin kerf blade never slows down in a cut.

A model maker friend from work painted the Dewalt logo on the nose...Thanks Len.
