I bought this machine from a friend a few years ago. I don't know if it was initially supposed to be a pin router, but it is now. Actually, I think it was used in the printing industry to rout type to be set. At any rate, the spindle has a 1/4" Jacobs chuck and is driven via a flat belt from an induction motor at 10,000 RPM. It has a manual spindle height adjustment, and foot pedal operated plunge.
