I found this saw at auction and gave $300 for it. It’s a Delta Milwaukee Wood/Metal 14" band saw with a cast iron art deco base. The model number is unknown. According to my research on OWWM I believe it is a 28-305 or something like that. The serial number born in date is 1950. As you can see, the saw is in pretty sad shape and will require a lot of work. This is my first attempt at restoration. I plan to totally dismantle, clean paint and rebuild. (New belts and bearings, etc.) I also have an original fence found on BOYD! The motor is 1/2hp single phase. The motor is not operational -It will need to be rewired unless I can find one in better shape. An interesting note, this saw has been on its base backward for 60 years!
