This planer was purchased used by my father for use in his cabinet shop in the early 70's. The planer is a monster with a 15hp 3 phase motor, 30" wide and 8" high capacity. The machine has been in daily use for 30+ years in his professional cabinet shop. My father recently rebuilt the planer when the rubber bushings on the feed rollers finally wore out. The most difficult part of the restoration was locating someone to re-cast from scratch all 31 of the rubber bushings. In addition to replacing all the rubber bushings and cutter head bearings, all the parts were cleaned, realigned, repainted and re assembled. Nothing was done to the motor. The planer should run another 30 years.
