THIS MACHINE PART IS NOT FOR SALE, DON'T ASK, AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOUR ITEM "X" FOR IT. THIS IS NOT A SALES FORUM AND I DO NOT HAVE MACHINERY FOR SALE HERE.
This data plate came out of the no longer in business Lapp Lumber and Planing Mill, LeRoy, NY. I have no idea which/what machine that this came off of. I am guessing that the machine's serial number fit inside of the machined square hole, lower left. As seen on other Graham pcs, the number plate was of the same material as the larger plate. The mill did have a Graham resaw and a swing saw, both of which are in use/owned by other OWWMembers.
***NOTE***Thanks to Jeff Joslin for notifying me that according to the date on the plate, that plate could only have come off of a planer/matcher made by Graham. It would make sense that the mill had a planer in the mill and at one time it was a Graham. Currently, there is another more modern planer in its place. I have no idea, nor does anyone else know what happened to the Graham planer/matcher. Look here: http://www.datamp.org/patents/search/advance.php?pn=508516&id=4328&set=6
