got this thing on craigslist with a 1930s? craftsman 8" table saw for 25$. 2 saws for 25$. the guy i bought it from said it was his dads. i think its from the 40s. couldnt find a serial number. he also said that the saw was binding up when cutting, but i havent had any problems with it yet. used it for some fret slotting. the table raising/lowering mechanism is a little hard to turn, as well as the fence adjustment possibly needs grease? i dont know. if you have any suugestions on how i can maintain this saw, let me know. i dont know the manufacturer of the jointer, but it has some chunks busted off the table. has a sears roebuck motor the it set up to power both of them. the whole thing seems to be a custom built deal, with the table extension/router table.
