This scroll saw is labeled 'New American', but was sold by A.H. Pomeroy, the actual maker being unknown.
Bought this on a whim while buying other machinery. The wood connecting pieces have all been replaced. The belt is a modern replacement. It is missing the drill attachment and a lathe attachment. The top arm is laminated hickory, and it is hollow. There is a platform for a small bellows of some sort under the back of the top arm. Every time the arm would flex down the bellows would compress sending air down the arm to a tube aimed at the blade. It works very nicely, albeit the treadle takes some getting used to.
