Craftsman/King-Seeley Central Specialty Power-Bronze 18" belt driven scroll saw from the early 1960s.
The saw is missing the spring cap, upper guide and hold-down foot assembly.
The tilt adjustment lever is broken and the pulley is bent.
>>HISTORY<<
This saw was posted on the BOYD Forum by fellow OWWMer, in August 2009.
I traded a vintage Westinghouse motor for the saw.
The saw made it to me in September 2009, through a Mid-West United States three segment Rucker.
UPDATE-January 2016:
Cleaned crankcase and filled with Valvoline SAE30 non-detergent oil.
Installed replacement 4" saw pulley.
Adjusted saw and installed 6" Craftsman blade.
Mounted to test stand with a Dunlap 1/3hp 1750rpm ball bearing motor and 2¼" steel pulley.
Craftsman pivot motor mount and clips.
Tested--runs extremely smooth.
UPDATE-September 2016:
I no longer own this saw--donated it to ArnFest 2016 silent auction.
