Craftsman/Syncro "40" magnetic oscillation jig/scroll saw.
Uses standard 5" pin blades. 11" throat with a ½" maximum depth of cut in wood.
The entire arm bends to pick up the upper blade pin.
The attached steel finger is the upper arm spring.
No motor, lubrication or On/Off switch.
The four holes in the table are not original. A previous owner added a wooden top, probably to utilize more of each blade.
The saw is somewhat loud, but there is an adjustment to quiet it down (similar to electic hair clippers).
The blade oscillates at 7200 spm and produces a very smooth cut surface finish.

>>HISTORY<<
A fellow OWWMer gave me this saw as a return favor for assistance with his machinery.
He found it at an estate sale. Not further info known.

UPDATE-September 2012:
I no longer own this saw--sold to a fellow OWWMer.
