Comments:
This backstand idler was used as the idler pulley assembly in the Acme National line of 2C edge sanders made by R.A. Ness & Co. While restoring a 2C sander for my shop, I took a bunch of photos of this assembly in particular because it's the critical component in that machine. But since it apparently is a device in its own right that R.A. Ness simply bought from Delta for use on the sander, I figured some folks may be interested in it standalone.
