I responded to a Craig's list ad for this saw and acquired it for $120. There was no actual picture of the saw posted and it was about an hours drive each way. It turned out to be well worth the trip. The previous owner had been using the saw in his workshop for about 20 years before buying a Sawstop cabinet saw. This saw is in great condition and has a lot of original stuff including the original paint I believe. It has a crafstman 3/4 horse replacement motor and large Allen Bradley starter from the wrong era (not shown in the pictures). It's also missing the original lock handle on the fence, but it does have the micro-adjuster. The splitter / guard assembly is also missing.
I plan to put a Vega fence on this and use it for a few months until it warms up here in Chicago. In the spring I'll probably do some maintenance and restoration. This will replace my 1970's Craftsman contractor saw. I would love to acquire a motor from the correct era before I go and buy new belts.
