I had been looking for a Parks for awhile on the bay and CL. The ones I saw were either too expensive, or too much of a basket case. I was about to bid on one from the bay and spend a load of cash when I thought better of it. I posted a want add on CL and within hours had a couple of offers. The guy I ended up doing business with had this Parks and a Walker Turner shaper for sale very reasonably. (I already posted the shaper). The motor is a B-Line Brown Brockmeyer 1hp 220v single phase. I built a mobile base from Rockler, cleaned the machine, and sent the knives out to be sharpened. I'll be doing all the set-up soon. This will replace my Ryobi AP-10.
