I don't know anything about the history of the machine before the Previous owner got it.
As far as I know the PO had it for about 50 years.
I spoke to his daughter. She said he had the drill her entire life, and she's about 60.
The PO was an expert fabricated in my opinion.
The drill bit box was fabricated from scratch.
I think it's safe to say he fabbed the transmission mount and the motorizing of the table elevating system.
