Manufactured by Heston & Anderson and sold thru their retail division named Blue Star Products. This is a 4 1/2" jointer on the optional cast iron stand. This jointer has an interesting height adjustment on the tables. It is a lever that works a rack and pinion gear system. The table is 32" long. All the castings no. are J-3X. In the 1941 catalog this machine was about $70.00 with stand and switch housing less motor. This is in as found condition. I did a honing of the blades and put it to work. For a 4" jointer it works pretty good. I would like to thank Don England for his 1941 catalog so I could identify the maker of this machine.
