Comments:
I acquired this with the help of two other OWWMers. It was from the estate of a gentleman who lived in San Francisco. His son was selling off his tools. No other history on this machine is known. I'm planning on restoring it to use. I may try to acquire a suitable counter shaft to allow for turning larger pieces on it, but the first order of business it to address the spindle bearings and thread. The cosmetics will follow and should be painstaking but relatively easy. I'm looking forward to getting this running and using it to turn.
Some specs: 24" between centers, weight ~500 lbs. including motor. Motor is a Century 3/4hp, 1750rpm.

Comments: not likely the original. Maybe a Yates, but should work.
